Course Selection

The middle school at Grant TK-8 School follows the structure of a comprehensive middle school. Students move through classes on an hourly basis, visiting different teachers for specific content instruction. All students each year take mathematics, social studies, science, physical education, and language arts. In addition, students may choose from a variety of electives such as coding, or Spanish, as well as band or orchestra.

Although each each year students are mandated by the state to take standardized courses, the courses change depending on whether the students are in sixth, seventh or eighth grade. To find out more about the specific course of study, click on your child's grade level.

If you have any questions regarding your child's schedules or the progression of course work toward fulfilling high school requirements, please contact our school counselor, Sherri Penaloza.
