Health Office

The health office is responsible for the health and saftey of your children. If your child has any health issue that might cause him/her distress or impair with the educational process in any way, please inform the school nurse. These health issues may include allergies, asthma, medical/physical impairments, or emotional issues. If you have any questions, concerns, or need clarification, contact the school health office at 619-860-5500, extension 3051.

Medications
If your child requires medication to be administered at school, please give the medicine directly to the school nurse. Do not give to the office staff or teacher. Parents need to complete paper work and often times a doctor needs to be involved.

Student Injury or Illness
When your child has an injury or illness that affects his or her participation in physical education for more than three school days, as a parent, you need to provide the nurse with a note from their doctor stating the length of the limitation. Once the child is ready to participate, a release note from the doctor is required.
